"Homosexual Lifestyle"

The term "homosexual lifestyle" is usually code for homophobic bigotry.

But as George Will notes, in announcing his 1993 "don't ask, don't tell" policy regarding gays in the military, President Clinton used the term "homosexual lifestyles," as did the Supreme Court in its landmark 2003 decision that anti-sodomy laws are unconstitutional.
